Russian and Slavic. Same?

ok i have to give a report on russian mythology about the creation of life, origin of people, etc.

but when i google it, slavic mythology comes up? is it the same thing? Where can I find russian mythology if slavic isn't what I'm looking for?

    All Russian - Slavic. But not all residents of Russia - Russian. Slavs also be different. Such as Ukrainians, Belarusians, Serbs, Slovaks - Slavs. Uzbeks, Chechens, Georgians, Armenians - not Slavs.

    Russians are Slavic like other members of the former USSR (Soviet Union)
