Is self psychiatry okay/practical?
They say that self divination is not recommended because you would only see what you want.
Would something like this also apply to analyzing out why you (yourself) do the things that you do, say the things that you say, etc. etc.? Is there some type of line that would cross?
But if possible, would it even be practical?
This is not so much for mental illness but more for stuff like "why do I feel the need to pay attention to word choice?" or "why do I procrastinate when I know things are on the line?"

If you consider yourself a rational enough person then it's fine..
Ignorant people should not try to give themselves advice.
I ask myself wuestions all the time
-to better understand what im doing/why im doing it
-is it practical?
-does it make sense?
-How can i improve?
-should i stop doing this? why? why not?
-how does this affect others? How am i portraying myself to others when i do this action..
You seem like a smart person.. Use your best judgement, but most importantly don't be biased.
It's practical if you know what questions to ask - what aspects of the problem/situation you need to evaluate. And you do, so you're fine.
