I need some help with a slope formula?

Using the slope formula

m = y2 – y1

x2 – x1

find the slope of the line determined by this pair of points:

    (x1, y1) = (- 2, 5)

    (x2, y2) = (1, - 5)

    Slope of the line joining the two points is

    m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

    = (- 5 - 5)/(1 + 2)

    = - 10/3
