Why do the keys on my new laptop keep siezing?
My laptop is only a month old and it seems the keys are sicking. I am used to typing on a desk top keyboard and am getting used to these laptop ones. Normally I could bash away as quick as I thought now I sometimes have to type one key at a time. It seems much better here on answers though.
Thank you for answering and of course I will vote you I can't believe the amount of people that don't. Could it be anything to do with the last question I asked about yahoo being slow and seizing where a box popped up and said something about ' there is a script writing do you want us to stop it?' The box went before I could X it

In your case, it's not the keys/keyboard; the problem is that you're typing too fast for the content to display on whatever it is your typing (online, local document, etc.).
For online typing, the thing that interrupts the most is either a slow connection, or your system (laptop) is running too many programs causing it to slow down as the RAM's buffer gets overloaded when you type. It's not uncommon if you're running several programs and media (e.g., music) and your using a laptop with minimal resources. It doesn't make a difference if it's new or not; if you're trying to use more resources than is available (there's a difference between physical RAM and available RAM) then you'll get slowdowns that look like keys sticking, but it'll also manifest as music skipping as well.
Browsers can affect performance as well; some browsers just don't respond as well/fast as others. Try typing different content using different browsers and see if you notice a difference. You should also increase your browsers cache size as well; if it's set to a limited size and you're exceeding it, that'll cause a similar problem as well.
For Firefox, the cache limit size is found in Tools>Options>Advanced>Network. It should be set to Automatic, but if the Cache Limiter setting is enabled, it might be set too low. Disable it if it's set and let it use Automatic.

Its an unusual occurence but it often happens when some dust or wire or any other trapping materials get inside your laptop keyboard For that you should do is get it serviced by the service center or by a technician or you can do it yourself, but its a bit risky. on the right side of your keys ( in case of a dell laptop ) pull it up desperately and when it opens up take a straw and blow up on that are or a brush and clean it up and press a particular key and it becomes again normal
