ok so if i get ps+ for like a month and get the free games it comes with then i dont renew my membership, do i loose those games or are they still going to stay on my ps3?

You lose the ability to play those games.
You must remain a member. If you stop your membership, you lose access to those games.
However, re-subscribing at any later date will instantly re-instate your access of those games.
Also, you can't get it for just a month. It's either 3 months or 1 year
