What tools were used for disembowelment?
Obviously, they had to be knives of some sort, but I'm curious as to what the name of those knives were.

disembowelment?
As in a formal execution or torture? Then simple dagger is all that is needed- the Greeks used a 'xiphus' as the standard short double edged point and slash tools. The Macharia was single edged chopping capable tool used for the chop off hands and feet of criminals or prisoners, enemy in the line and recommended for the calvary. Romans used the 'gladius' during some disembowelment executions- was their standard shortsword for legion and used for punishment details also. The 'sicaro' was a single edged curved dagger used for slashing in mideast fighting- would cut stomachs or throats easily- think of it as a small 'scimitar' curved sword. The Egyptian sickle knife/short sword- kurvi, korbai or corvy depending on translators was a inner curved tool derived from the grain cutter and could be pulled across a stomach to get guts spilled. Other tools could be used - like the spears with sharp edges, wide blade axes-- depends some on the language of the people doing the cutting. Naginatas good for a long slash. .
