Will i face racism in duisburg-essen, germany?

I plan on going to a university there and was wondering what the people there are like and their views on Asian muslims. Will i be completely isolated there?? Will i face racist comments everyday??

I am currently in Germany and can tell you that there are a lot of Asian Muslims over here,

but of course there is also racism over here.

I haven't experienced very bad racism yet (I'm Black-Native American-White) but I have been faced with a lot of ignorance and some hurtful things.

    It really depends though.

    Muslims are quite common.

It is more difficult when you are actually really mixed like me, and moreover have a last name that doesn't suit your heritage. That's when people get confused and may react weird.

You can however, never completely avoid racism.

    Good Luck!

I've never been to Germany but I hear the people there are very open minded. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I'm not saying that you won't hear any racist comments, but I'm sure that if someone says something racist to you, someone else will stick up for you.

find out if there are other asian muslims their just like you, go online see if their are any groups like on facebook or what ever, ask them if they experience racism there in germany.

are you more afraid of what people react and say rather than being afraid of ALLAH more ,, i don't care what people think live ALLAH's way and you will never fail ,, everyone is free to choose what faith religion they want and respect other beliefs
