Audio CDs compatibility across countries?
I know US DVDs do not work on foreign DVD players. What I'd really need to know is whether US CDs will work on foreign CD players. I want to buy books from Amazon that teach English as a second language and teach to a couple of people in the Middle East. Those books come with CDs. Will I be able to play them on a laptop or regular CD player bought in the Middle East? Thank you.

Audio CDs are not region coded like DVDs. Furthermore, there is only one audio format for CDs (unlike multiple video formats for DVD.)
So yes, any CD will play in any player that can read a CD.
