Do you have at least six months saved up for i.e. rent or mortgage, car payments, car insurance, gas, utilities, car repairs, social activities etc.? Or are you living with family with little or no housing expenses? While you have been waiting to quit have you actively searched for another job? Why are you so unhappy at this job because leaving any finding another job might not be the answer to your unhappiness. Are there transfer opportunities at your current job? We learn that the grass is not always better on the other side in fact some people attempt to return to their former employer. Think about this carefully the ultimate decision is yours of course.
