Should the Penguins Target Colby Armstrong?

Armstrong works great with Crosby and could play multiple roles (like pascal dupuis) He's a third line player but could play on the first or second line if someone goes down, which is what pittsburgh will need. Armstrong also has a lot of chemistry with Crosby, and he could be on the PK considering matt cooke and possibly pascal dupuis are gone.

I'm thinking offering Armstrong one year, $1.5 million

For what? To take up space on IR?

He's perpetually injured (last year in MTL, 2 years prior here in Toronto) and has minimal NHL skill beyond chirping people and being a s**t disturber.

He might have been useful in 2008/2009 but that was four years ago.
