There is a cloud chamber. It is a particle detector. Usually it is a super sealed environment of water or alcohol , it is used for detecting ionizing radiation. When a charged particle interacts with the cloud chamber it ionized and form the ions. Cloud chamber is a mixture of vapor and gas and it is the apparatus used in physics to detect the path of charged particles.
