Xbox One vs PS4, Your Opinion?
I have been playing 360, and I used to love Sony, now I am switching back, for a multitude of reasons. I wonder what you guys are thinking, give reasons and I will give you 5 stars.
Reasons
1. Xbox has some terrible exclusives, and PS4 has more indie exclusives than Xbox has total. Dead Rising in my opinion is awful, Killer Instinct looks just like Mortal Kombat, the only real good exclusive that isn't on PC is Ryse, which looks good but still seems like one giant QTE
2. PS4 is being more open to indie games
3.PS4 is getting Planetside 2 and Elder Scrolls Online, and the only amazing Xbox multiplayer will be Titanfall, and that will be on PC
4.Halo is the only worthwhile exclusive, and it will not be out until next year
5.Xbox Live is superior, but PS plus gives free games every month
6.Xbox actually considered the DRM stupidity
7. Forza has gotten stale, DriveClub could replace it
8. Xbox has almost no returning console sellers, PS4 has Gran Turismo, InFamous and Killzone
9. PS4 does not require stupid motion controls, such as Money
10.Destiny was showcased, most likely DLC exclusive
11. MS is making Mojang mad, Minecraft may be on PS4
12. PS has Gaikai streaming, Xbox has no backwards comp.
13. PS4 is $100 cheaper
1st answer did not read
1. I said DRM was a consideration
2.Minecraft will be on PS4 by next year
Gaikai is the backwards compatibility. It allows you to stream games on demand, xbox doesn't have any of that. I will be buying both

Hello, I'll just give my counter opinion in the same order you gave yours for the sake of friendly debate:
1. I find Xbox exclusives to be superior to PS, Killzone, Uncharted and God of War come to mind for Sony but Xbox has Halo, Gears of War, Ryse (looks awesome), Fable, Dead or Alive, Forza, Left 4 Dead, Dead Rising, Spark etc. Opinions will vary but many would agree
2. If I want to play an indie game I can play it on my phone or PC easily
3. Elder Scrolls Online is also coming to Xbox 1
4. Yes, Halo is not out until next year but at least the date has been set, unlike many of Sony titles that are considered "under production" we all know that it could take several years for some games to come out.
5. Xbox Live will also allow 2 free games each month per their announcement, is renowned for its stability and will have 15 times the dedicated servers (no expansion details have been released for Sony)
6. Sony acknowledged months ago that DRM restrictions were a possibility they announced 7 hours AFTER Xbox and took the opportunity to gain an advantage. Give Microsoft credit for reversing it regardless and reaffirming that those policies will never change throughout the console's lifespan.
7. Forza as well as Project Gotham Racing are generally the best racing games and both Xbox exclusives
8. Seems to be a rehash of previous statements, however, see (1.) for list of returning console sellers (including the much better line-up of launch titles announced)
9. Nothing about the Xbox "requires" motion. It is simply a feature that is much more in depth than PS Move (which was barely discussed by Sony). The Kinect allows for many game innovations and perks that make games more immersive as well as allowing voice functions for easier management of the console. Plus it makes even watching TV fun, extending entertainment well beyond just games (fantasy football live updates on screen during games etc.)
10. Destiny may have earlier DLC for PS4 but will still come to Xbox 1 as well, whereas Xbox will get DLC content faster for Call of Duty so a matter of taste there.
11. Minecraft is already on the current generation not sure what the fuss is about here, it is just as likely to be on Xbox 1 as PS4
12. Neither console will have true backwards compatibility and both have equal ability to allow downloads for them possibly in the future.
13. This is the best selling point for PS4, however it is worth noting that the Xbox comes with built-in Kinect which allows for much more entertainment possibilities than simply games or compared to PS Move.
**Things not discussed:
*The PS3 had slightly better specs than Xbox but no one really notices a significant difference over the past 6 years so why would anyone think this cycle will be any different? Not to mention that while the core graphics are better on PS4, the splitting up of the dedicated graphics cores on the Xbox will make background processes superior to the PS4 (meaning a decreased chance of loading screens or downloads affecting gameplay)
*Microsoft has announced better partnerships including EA download exclusives and NFL deals (which will make the Kinect and TV features better)
*Xbox has an HDMI in (meaning it can connect to all of your media and become an entertainment center hub) whereas the PS4 only has an HDMI out
I hope that was detailed enough, just a strong argument against the onslaught of Sony advocates lately, the war is far from decided. :)

Ps4: Everything games are supposed to have, no restrictions. The main 3 exclusives: Knack(Ratchet and Clank replacement), Killzone: Shadowfall (looks vicious), and Infamous: Second son(Looks like a next-gen game). $399
Xbox 1: Dumb restrictions that they announced don't have anymore, Halo 5(never liked Halo; Hated how the guns look), Titan Fall(Kinda jealous look really nice), etc...(There are others but I don't like them cause if I did I would remember them) $499. The XBOX 1 is $499 because of the stupid kinect ****, which some people aren't even gonna use (Dumbasses).
The only thing Xbox has on PS4 is the games their games are kinda more hardcore. Other than that they don't got ****. PS4 the overall price is less than XBOX 1.
As you can see I am obviously a PS4 constomer CAN'T WAIT

While people are strongly bashing the PS4 and getting happy due to the fact MICROSOFT ONLY REVERSED THEIR DRM POLICY AND THE INTERNET POLICY.. i am strongly a PS4 fan and will buy it over the Xbox one. The Xbox one indeed have more titles than Sony but Sony exclusives are way better than Microsoft proven on previous consoles. HALO IS FUC*** weak man that's their major spin off every damn year while Sony has god of war, infamous, uncharted, metal gear solid, star-hawk and many more. KH3 was first announced for the PS4 before NOMURA declared it will be on the Xbox. even if we do have to pay for online, pay for PS plus its worth it man we get plus and online so that's technically free games to because if you have plus on the PS3 they offer free games and a variety of discounts off games. Buying the Xbox one is you like buying direct TV. And for people that's saying call of duty come to Microsoft first no duh MICROSOFT paid them to release it to them first, the company did not just say oh look its Microsoft they get it first. The only thing Microsoft really have hard ware wise is the voice command feature. And there have been a lot of questions about graphics which the PS3 is better than the 360 for that but people hate admitting stuff i am not. Live do have a more stable server with the 360 but its kinda funny.... when the Xbox first came out you had to use Ethernet cables to connect to the server which was so weak and the people that did do it though had perfect connections... why? Because when your directly in touch with the router all the internet syncs straight to your console. While people on the ps3 used WiFi and Ethernet we didn't have to make multiple systems before we had built in WiFi. You can play games while it download on the PS4 Microsoft did not even mention a feature similar to that. You and your friend can help each other out while playing the same game.... the Xbox one connect is MANDATORY... the ps move is not therefore the prices for both systems are set. The Xbox one has better social features because that's the path its leaning towards. Moving on the ps4 has better hardware, better gaming features, better market features especially now, and if MINECRAFT is the only game your worried about then go with the Xbox one but other than that PS4. OH BTW if minecraft is the only reason people want the Xbox one that's childish like to only buy a console for one game and then throw it in the closet just don't get the console. GAME QUOTE: WHICH CONSOLE IS THE ONE 4 U!

Well I don't know which one ill get just yet. Probably both. But I can tell you for sure that I'm getting the Xbox one.
Microsoft just reversed all DRM policies and no longer requires Internet once every 24 hours.
That being said this makes both consoles on par now. The PS4 has SLIGHTLY better specs but on reality there is no difference.
Plus the Xbox one has better exclusives, the Kinect, and its an all-in-one home entertainment box.

My vote is defiantly strongly towards PS4. I already have a PS4 my parents bought my 1 for Christmas & my birthday (which is the same day) & I get to start using it tomorrow. I have 4 reasons why I went for Playstation 4. 1st that's the system the majority of my friends bought, 2nd it's cheaper, 3rd I like the overall console better, & 4th I don't want the NSA watching me through the Xbox one's Kinect sensor. Oh & in my opinion there is better games & graphics on PS4.

Most of everything you said about the Xbox one is just your opinion. Xbox one has no DRM policies just like the PS4. BUT HERE ARE FACTS WHY PS4 IS BETTER THAN XBOX ONE:
1. $100 cheaper
2. Better Hardware specs
3. PS4 Hard-drive is upgradeable (Xbox one is not)
4. PS4 does not require mandatory game installs (saves space), (Xbox one requires it)
5. PSN is still $10 cheaper than Xbox live and PSN gives you a MUCH BETTER VALUE.

Okay, I have played both the Xbox 360 & PS3 and enjoyed them both in their own ways. I find fun in playing minecraft with my friends online and playing black ops 2 online on Xbox. I never really felt a sense of enjoyment from playing Halo until Halo 4, and L4D is just okay (not great, but not bad). With PS3, I've enjoyed the Uncharted series singleplayer & multiplayer experience and I look forward to playing The Last of Us when I get the chance. Most of the games I have for PS3 are also on the 360, and that doesn't make the experience any different IMO. With the PS4 and Xbox One coming our way, it's already turning into the SEGA vs Nintendo war in the 90's. Personally, I'm going with the PS4, and here's why:
1. They both (hardware wise) are practically the same system. They just have slightly different processors (ps4 having the advantage).
2. I believe hardly anyone is going to pay for Microsoft's TV service. If I want to watch TV, I would stick with a cable company like Cox and watch TV from them.
3. Exclusives: this is a little bit of a biased opinion, but I find more enjoyment playing PS exclusives rather than Xbox exclusives. This is mainly because I find enjoyment out of both single player and multiplayer online (like in the Uncharted series), when it feels like almost every Xbox exclusive is built more on online multiplayer than single player ( such as Minecraft, Left 4 Dead, & Call of Duty (I know that cod is not an exclusive, but they build the software to work best with Xbox and port it to the ps3)).
4. E3 impressions: I felt Sony had the advantage over Microsoft here too. Most of the games that Microsoft showed at E3 don't really look that appealing (such as that online tank game as well as RYSE, Deadrising 3, Killer Instinct, and Quantum Break. With Sony, they are supporting indie games more than Microsoft and most indie games I've played are good in their own ways, but does this mean the ones at E3 will be good? I don't know. But the games revealed at Sony were interesting and some really caught my eye, like 1886, Kingdom Hearts III and especially Destiny. Also with Destiny, Sony is teaming up with Bungie and Activision to give ps4 users the best experience with Destiny (basically they are pulling a call of duty/Xbox except it's destiny/ps).
5. The price: The PS4 is $100 cheaper than Xbox One. I know this is due to Xbox having a kinect, but if you buy a playsation eye camera, it's $60, and even with that, it would be $40 cheaper.
6. Microsoft's reputation of crappy hardware design: now I have not touched an Xbox one or a PS4, but it seems to me that xbox's are poorly designed and they get taken to stores for repair a lot more often than ps consoles.
7. Online service: Xbox Live Gold is more expensive than PS Plus pretty much giving you access to everything that the PS3 already allows you to do (Netflix, amazon instant video, online play, etc). Now the PS4 online play is required with PS Plus, but PS Plus is cheaper and an overall greater value, giving discounts on games, early access to betas, free games, and more secure and immersive online play. Xbox Live Gold is really only for Online play & Netflix.
This is all mostly my opinion. So before I get angry replies, please know it is mostly my opinion and that I enjoy some games more or less than others.

Xbox
1. its an all in one entertainment system (Gaming, Live tv, social media, and much more)
2. Has better exclusives, Ryse and Titanfall, and ofcourse Halo (one of the biggest franchises ever)
3. it might be more expensive but you get more for your money (the kinect, plus all the entertainment features that the PS4 doesnt have)
hahaha all the xbox fanboys on here are still worshipping and defending it.
1. The Xbox One is the ugliest console ever. Looks like an 80's VCR player.
2. The exclusives are the same old bullshit. Halo, Gears of War, Early CoD releases. (thats all Xbox gamers care about I guess).
3. Microcock tried to screw you all over very badly by taking your freedom and control away, they don't deserve a free pass and praise.
4. If a patch is being used to remove the restrictions, then another patch can be used to bring them back. They could very well be waiting for their sales to improve then they'll switch back over.
5. its american technology...it'll probably break like the Xbox 360 did. (my friend went through 5 of them! they all red ringed)
PS4 = hardcore gamers.
Xbox = casual gamers who just want first person shooters.

Most of what people are saying is opinionated and they think there facts like look at Broderick he's saying stuff that makes him look like an ignorant a** hole, everyone just needs to be opened minded and get the console that's going to be better for what they want in entertainment you don't have to say that the ps4 better than the Xbox one and bash on it because that's just what you prefer
