Xbox One or PlayStation 4?

Hey I really do not know what console I should get.

I have owned an Xbox 360 since 2007 and never really got into PlayStation.

I have spent many hours on the Xbox 360 and raising my gamerscore and playing with friends.

I think the only reason I have pre-ordered the Xbox One is for Halo and my gamerscore.

But with the PlayStation 4 it has every game I love apart from Halo.

( Halo got me into gaming hence why it is a hard decision to leave Xbox )

The PlayStation 4 seems a lot better, it is cheaper and has better graphics and is a social console and I just love the sound of that.

But please give me a few reason to win me over to either console. Please do not just say Get the X1 or Get the PS4.. I really need to actual reasons. Thanks :)

Like Rhys said, these people have out of date information. Used games and being able to play games offline will work the same way for both systems. Both systems are basically the same except PS4 is $100 cheaper, has better RAM and GPU. Graphics doesn't mean much between them when it comes down to 3rd party games. Exclusives is where you will see the graphic differences. XB1 comes with Kinect, but if you don't care for motion control, your still forced to buy it. XB1 may have had a better showing of exclusives at E3, but who cares. Its just a hand-full of games that were shown. There will be games at launch and in the future. XB live is better. PS plus on the PS4 will be better then the PS3. I'm going for PS4. Playstation has been known to have better exclusives. Take a look at The Last of Us for example.

PS4sure. Even though MS removed DRM for X1 it is still inferior to PS4 in many ways, such as power, and a lack of great titles. The KINECT 2 does beat the **** out of PS Eye though. Killzone is a good alternative to Halo. The XBOX community is also shrinking because of the utter fail the X1 was. I can prove it. In a WORLDWIDE Gamespot poll, the PS4 had 89% of votes while the X1 had 11%. Also the PS is way more innovative with the controller and remote play to Vita, and the X1 is basically a shitty smart TV that can play games. Also the PS4 is £80 cheaper.

Everyone here saying all the Xbox things that it has to be on and there is a fee for used games, ARE WRONG. They changed their policies yesterday. Now that Microsoft changes the policies, definitely xbox one. The Xbox one does everything exactly as the ps4, but it can do all of the multitasking features, have voice control. The Xbox is like the ps4 but with entertainment features. Why would you spend $400 when you can spend $100 more to get 10x more features. And you get the Kinnect in with it. And the games are 30 times better. Out of the 40 "exclusives" like 30 or more are indie games, which no one cares about. Get you halo. It will be amazing trust me!

Alright, here's the deal: I'm not a Sony or Microsoft supporter. I am a nintendo gamer. I own the Wii U. So, you can consider me fair and balanced. To be honest, the Xbox One scares me. It's always on, monitoring you, used games are really hard to use, xbox 360 isn't compatible with it, and it's hdmi only, so unless you spent over $500 on your TV, you're screwed. And it has to be less than 5 years old. Why pay more for less? The PS4 now requires paying for internet, but so does xbox1. It's cheaper, has better games, is more powerful, and can play used games: no questions asked. I would go PS4. Too bad you already ordered xbox one. Now back to "abandoning" microsoft. I know how you feel. People tell me to abandon Nintendo because it only has Mario. That's not true at all. Nintendo has over 20 GOOD first party franchises. What's different for you is that Xbox only has ONE. Pretty ironic considering the name. Halo 4 just came out and no Halo gameplay was shown at E3. The only game shown was COD Ghosts. I feel like you aren't abandoning Microsoft if you switch to Sony. I feel like Microsoft is abandoning you.

  • The PS4 Because the Xbox One requires gamers to maintain a constant internet connection. If your Xbox One is disconnected for longer than 24 hours, your games will cease to function. You'll still be able to watch TV, use Blu-rays and surf the web, but your games will be off limit. This has made a lot of gamers very mad, so it's surely a huge advantage for Sony that the PS4 has no such limitations.

Unless you're playing online, streaming games or downloading, your PS4 does not need to be connected to the internet. Games will always work regardless.

Another huge win for Sony comes in the realm of used games. Where Microsoft is allowing publishers the right to set their own rules with regards to allowing them to be re-sold, Sony is doing no such thing.

Pre-owned games will work on the PS4 just as they do with the PS3 and the PS2. You can lend a game to a friend simply by handing them the disc.

    Next gen reviews

Xbox One, you can only lend a game to a person you've had in your Xbox live friends list for longer than 30 days, and you can only do it once. This could lead to reduced availability and/or increased prices for pre-owned titles, though it's hard to predict how it will all shake down when the consoles and games finally go on sale.

The PS4 allows used games, deosn't require you to have internet, you don't have to pay for online, has better excluives, and Destiny is coming out for it and xbox 1 but watch dogs is ps exlucsive and that game will be really good, cheaper price too.

Get a Ps4. Box one is bullshit. Did you see the facebook post saying they now support used games sharing games. Microsoft is stupid. They know their next gen console is going to lose so much money compared to release of box 360. Get a Ps4 if you have the money and want it!

PS4 for sure. Way better graphics, no used game restrications and no need to be online to play a game

Xbox One will not allow you to play used games, for example if u buy a game from a store and it turns out to be used u cant play it. And u need online to play a game even if it doesnt require online, like sport games. In conclusion buy the PS4. And BTW i already pre ordered it so im not just saying this to screw u
