My laptop freezes when i plug in my charger?
Ok so just got my laptop back from Dell my fan wasn't working so it overheated a few things inside my systems. everything inside is new its only the shell that is old. here's the problem (it did this also before i had the fan fixed) when i plug in my charger my laptop freezes after 3-10 minutes of running time with the plug in. here's where the weird part is it only does it while i play my games it has nothing do do with the games or graphics. when its unplugged runs perfectly. i don't want to send it back to dell i don't want to wait another 2 weeks for repair. if someone can help me fix this that be great thanks!

Hi Jean-francois,
As the motherboard has been replaced, the BIOS might need updating. Update the BIOS and the video drivers of the system.
Note: While updating the BIOS, battery should be > 10% charged and AC adapter should be connected. Please disconnect any external peripherals connected to the system.
You may download and install the latest versions of BIOS and Video drivers from the link below:
Enter the system Service Tag and click on ‘Continue’. Select the operating system and it will display a list of available downloads.
If possible, try using another AC Adapter (charger) from a similar system. You may also check the Power Plan settings. Try changing to High Performance power plan and check. Refer to the link below to know how to manage power plans:
Hope this helps.
