If he is guilty, it's a shame. Why would you throw such a promising career down the drain. Pretty sad.

LOL, the first two answers are dumb as f*ck. One player gets an arrest warrant and we miss the playoffs? Are you smacked. Hernandez and Gronkowski were out for quite some time last season and the Patriots went 12-4. Gronkowski has been missing playoff action for 2 years and the Patriots have 2 AFC Championship Game appearances to show for it (and this is with terrible defenses). Even with all of this disturbance, who in the AFC East is going to take the title other than the Pats? The Dolphins? THEY SUCK!
Source(s): To answer the Hernandez question, it depends on 3 things. 1) if he is found guilty of murder, 2) how long he will be locked up for if he is guilty, and 3) if there will be a team interested in Hernandez once he is free. - 8 years ago
Not suprised he was involved in the murder. Ya his career is definitly in danger depends on how many years he gets and also image teams probably wont sign a murderer. So ya i think he's pretty much done in the NFL let alone just the Patroits.
Yes the Patriots are declining Tom Brady is retiring soon Gronkowski is always injured wes welker is gone Steven Ridley and Danny Woodhead are injury prone (good players but injury prone). There D is always last or very close to last after Brady leaves Patriot fans will return to the paper bags no offence Patriot fans.
To all the Patroits fans who made fun of my team falling apart look at yours!

I think it's pretty safe to say his career dissipation light is kicking into high gear now but I really think that's the least of his problems right now. Even as a Patriots fan that doesn't want to see him go I hope they suspend him immediately until they outcome of his trial.
LOL at the first answer though, you sound like every other person over the last 10 years that said it was the beginning of the end when someone left.

I asked a similar question a few days ago, and all the patriots fans said he wasn't involved. I knew it from the start he had something to do. Too many coincidences.

this will not kill the patriots chances at makeing another run in the playoffs.while i am sure they would be better with him they are a great team before they got himthat does not change
i don't really know enough about the case to comment properly

Not to shy away from the question, but this will put some added pressure on Gronkowski to get back on the field faster.

No real thoughts. He's an idiot, a thug, and he can't control his emotions with a $8M yearly paycheck, so no one should feel bad for him. Let alone all this, he was questioned about another murder in the past...

I agree with the first comment. Pats are on decline due to the lack of inhibition their players have. Honestly, I think they rolled the dice when they drafted him knowing about the gang activity he is involved in. I just don't get how someone who already has it made ruins everything by shooting someone in the face....IDIOT
