Let me start by saying this..

I was a transfer student going into a larger university and did not have much experience or support in understanding the transition or realizing the importance of getting good grades. My counselors at my school were horrid and I didn't know I was suppose to see an adviser until my Senior year of undergrad.

Basically, I took a ton of courses in which had no relation to my major or was even remotely necessary. It was a learning experience for sure and I am hear now looking into Graduate schools I can potentially apply to once I am done with undergrad (taking ONE course now to finish).

Here are some quick stats about undergrad that could be a potential reflection of my course work

*2.72 GPA *Withdrew 2 courses *Failed 1 course *took me 2 extra years to complete undergrad

Based on what you see here, do you believe my chances of GETTING INTO a graduate school are slimmer now? I've done nearly 4 years of nonprofit's

Okay, so I was suppose to hang out with my girlfriend today and unfortunately plans changed because I had to babysit

Long story short, she hung up on me because I told her we couldn't hangout and I forgot to call her at noon earlier today.

I called her literally from 130 until 515 to talk to her and apologize. She told me a few moments ago that she didn't want to talk to me.

We've been together for 3 and a half years so I'm a bit surprised she did this on purpose. How would you handle it? I want to call her but I feel like I'd send the wrong message.

Thoughts??

I drive a 1999 Camry LE and my check engine light has been on for forever and as of now it has 147k miles.

Long story short while I am driving, here and there my RPM will go up and down while in first and second gear.

I changed the engine air filter but I am not sure what other problem this could be!

I am pondering getting a car within the next 6-12 months and I am looking for a car that is GOOD on MPG

I drive within a 17-20 mile radius everyday which can sometimes end up being at least 25-50 miles 2-3 days out of the week sometimes even 5.

I drive a Camry LE 1999 which does a poor job in terms of mileage. I roughly get 20-25 mpg and it has been putting a hole in my pocket...

Both of the cars I am looking at are roughly 16k and below from Autotrader so I think car payments are doable for a first time buyer

Both seem quite feasible but based on what YOU know which car do you think is MORE appealing or any other cars you would recommend that are good on gas?

My dad seemingly doesn't care about eating healthier. He always thinks that once your at a certain age, getting fat and overweight is the norm.

He constantly buys GMO food containing aspartame, MSG, soy, and anything under the sun that enhances hypertension and diabetes.

My dad is super sensitive and is not open to criticism. He left his last primary care provider because he told him he needed to lose weight (he's about 6'1 260 lbs and 52 years old)

What's the best approach to get him to eat more healthy?

There is a guy on facebook who posted a picture in a popular group of him ejaculating on to his laptop screen of someone else's daughter and saying he "loves it"

Should I report to authorities? This is pretty sick if you ask me...

Here is the situation:

I am 23 yo African American individual dating a 23yo Latina women from Ecuador and we've been dating for 3 years now, and we discuss the possibility of having a marriage.

Her so called friend "Bruno" has harassed her with several messages about our relationship and more specifically here is an exact quote "You are white and beautiful and he is a *****, and he treats you bad because he is black."

He also went into more comments saying that "black people are traumatized because of their skin color." Then he went into saying he "doesn't like me because of my comments on Facebook" and he thinks I can't handle racism. For the most part, I have no problem with anyone and I EMBRACE all cultures and I love everyone no matter what your background is.

Lastly, he then goes on to say that she "deserves better," and his last message is "I'm not racist, because I once loved a black girl and I have friends of multiple races." He also brought her to tears because she's never been exposed to any type of ridicule towards our relationship (nail in the coffin)

How should I handle this? I personally have a fire burning inside of me because I feel there are a few things I need to say to him... I sent a message on FB but he ignored it and I am considering writing on his wall... I don't know though, I need opinions ASAP. What would you do?

Here is the predicament:

In order to graduate from Howard U - I need 127 credits in order to do so. I currently have 102 and I need to be within 6 credits in order to participate in graduation (121 credits). I am currently registered for 16 credits and Howard only has ONE graduation the entire school year...

Last semester I registered for 16 credit hours and I decided to drop a course because I was worried I was going to fail and subsequently If I don't take 19 credits this semester I won't be able to participate in graduation. I get remission of tuition (tuition is waived) and it only covers up to 18 credits...

If I take 19 credits I have to pay anywhere up to 900 to 1400 bucks which would be a financial burden for me to pay because I barely have any money myself....

If I don't pay I don't participate in graduation however, I still get my degree by the summer time

What would you do?

I work for a non profit agency serving individuals with disabilities

I get paid 11 bucks an hour to drive within a 30-40 mile radius and I am not happy with where I am.

The pay is remedial and with a college degree I know I can do better. How do you handle complicated situation on the work place? It's too much and living in the DC area I simply cannot afford to drive all over the place

Honesty - For example, if a car is 17500 MSRP how much is it really? I've been looking into a used Dodge Dart or a Chevy Cruze for my first car.

What else do I need to pay for in order to drive off of the lot with it..

I am trying to figure this out now.... Because I've been selling on eBay for the past couple of years and lately I have tried to avoid it. I don't understand the reasoning behind eBay taking out large sums for "invoice" and then after that I get billed from paypal for using their services.

I sold an iphone for 150 on top of 8 bucks not including shipping:

I spent close to 19 bucks on shipping

Ebay charged me 15 bucks for invoice

PayPal charged 4

So in the end I only end up making 110 on an iPhone....

Is Amazon any better or should I try and start selling on my own

Been with this girl for close to 3 years:

My so called girlfriend said she was interested in coming to my dads get together birthday party. She was notified close to three weeks ago. Okay, here is where things get shady. Two days ago my mom emailed my girlfriend to let her know she was "unsure" about doing something which was on Saturday. The night before my girlfriend said she was available to hang out from 7-12am.

She was trying to make plans with me to go out to eat or the movies or something around that time frame. My mom called last minute and said she decided to go so I called my girlfriend to let her know about the change in plans. She then said she did not intend on going, and she is ended up hanging out with her friends during the time frame we were suppose to hangout.
