They know how to live simply and not be deceptive or greedy. However, they are constantly being spied upon. Just look at all the tourists that flock to Amish areas to stare at them.

Perhaps the Amish have realised that there's nothing that we can do, and are just waiting for "Freedom" to destroy our world: As it surely will do one day! Sometimes a profound sense of apathy makes life so much easier.

I admire the Amish with their strong morals they know how to treat their neighbors while we are stuck in this Face Book generation with people with trashy morals that treat their neighbors like crap.
