What vinegar can you substitute for cedar vinegar?

    Your best bet is just plain white vinegar, but in truth, you could use any type of vinegar.

    I have NEVER HEARD of "cedar" vinegar.

    I use apple cider, white distilled vinegars or lemon or lime juice or whatever comes to hand.

    I assume you mean cider vinegar, white vinegar would work, or sherry vinegar

    It depends on what you are making, but lemon or lime juice is a good substitute.
