I have a question about Islam.?
I consider myself an agnostic/atheist but grew up Roman Catholic. Earlier today, I saw a Facebook post from a friend of mine where he reposted a quote from the Evangelical Christian that says "In Islam, you die for Allah. The God I worship died for me." I don t know much about Islam but I feel that this is a gross over simplification and an inaccurate interpretation of an entire religion. I m open to learning about other religions. I may not be religious, but one thing that upsets me is adherents of one religion bashing another religion they don t know enough about. So I was just wondering if someone could clarify the above quote for me. Thanks in advance.

But why is healthcare a right and not a choice?
10 AnswersPolitics5 years agoI have a friend who said that around 1 or 2 percent of taxpayers in Manhattan pay nearly 50 percent of the taxes. Is this true?
I tried looking for this information, but I'm unable to find it to confirm or deny this. Anyone have any clue?
1 AnswerFinancial Services5 years agoIs it legal for an employer to make a policy that only affects on person within that company?
I guess I can be specific. I work at a car wash. One of my responsibilities is to replace the chemical barrels in the chemical room when they get low. These are the chemicals that are dispensed on the vehicles when they go through the wash. The vast majority of the time, I'm the only one who deals with these chemicals. In October of last year, I was changing out a chemical barrel, I accidently over filled it with the remains of the previous barrel and I quickly took the funnel out and put it back into the bucket that had the last little bit of chemicals from the previous barrel. When I did this, the chemicals splashed up into my eyes and I had to go to the medical clinic to have them flushed out with saline solution. Ever since then, when ever I change out the chemicals, the "powers that be" made me where safety glasses when changing out the barrels. Today, however, there was a clogged tip on one of the lines where the individual chemicals go into the dispenser. I tried to unclog it, but it wouldn't unclog. This is something that I've done many, many times without safety glasses because this task doesn't require them to be on in order to be done. Well, the general manager saw me doing this and freaked out and said that I'm banned from the chemical room because I "burned my eyes." Well, this irked me quite a bit because it feels that I'm being targeted. What I mean is -- there's being safe and there's being paranoia.
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoQuestion regarding an error struck coin.?
I have a friend at work who said his dad has a 1964 silver coin where the word "United" on the reverse is spelled wrong. He said he hasn't seen it since he was 12 and his dad won't tell him where it is, I assume because of it's intrinsic value. I thought he said it was an Eisenhower coin, but they weren't minted in 1964. Does anyone know what coin this could be and how much it could be?
2 AnswersHobbies & Crafts6 years agoHas Obama spent more money then all other president combined. This can t be true, can it?
I ve done some research, and it seems that Congress is the one that spends most of the money and that Obama has spent less, more or less, since Eisenhower. I have a friend at work that said this, and I have my doubts about it. Also, he mentioned that Obama has raised the national debt more than any other president. Is this true as well?
6 AnswersPolitics6 years agoWho has a higher level of training/respect in the military -- Delta Force or Navy Seals?
I know they are both Special Operations groups in the military and are both highly respected groups -- Delta Force is within the Army and the Navy Seals is, well, in the Navy/Marine Corp. I was just wondering if Delta Force is considered a higher level of Special Ops or vice versa or if they're considered equals both in terms of given operations, training, classification level, etc.
2 AnswersMilitary7 years agoDoes anyone know if Tower Loan is a good place to work?
I applied to for a job with them and they called and left a voicemail for me to call them back but before I did, I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience working there. I know they offer great benefits, but I looked on www.Consumeraffairs.com and there's 46 complaints about them. Any advice is helpful and I just wanted to gauge people's opinion before calling them back. Thanks.

6 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation7 years agoIs thee any proof to the claims of unintended acceleration on Jeep Grand Cherokees?
I've tried to do some research on it and came up empty. The only thing that I could find it the possibility of operator error, not unintended acceleration. I've looked on Chrysler's website, Jeep's website, the Jeep forums and event the NHTSA and found nothing. I work at a car wash and they only allow the owner of the car wash to drive the vehicle through because of this supposed problem yet I have not found any proof of it.
3 AnswersJeep8 years agoGenerally speaking, why do OHV engines have more torque than OHC designed engines?
Personally, I've always had my "allegiances" to the DOHC design as being the better and vastly superior engine, but one thing that I've noticed is that, generally speaking, OHV engines seem to have a higher torque rating than OHC engines. Why is this?
1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation8 years agoWhat other method, other than GDP, can a country gauge its economic growth?
I was watching some Youtube videos of Dr. Nate Hagens and he mentioned that we have to base our economic growth on something other than GDP. So just out of curiosity, what other forms of economic growth can we use if not GDP?
