Laptop touchpad does not scroll. Can you help me get it work please?
I bought my comp a few month ago and looked through the settings multiple times but have still not been able to figure out how to get it to scroll by using the touchpad. My past hp never had problems and always worked. My new hp beats comp touchpad never has worked for scrolling up and down. It does work for moving the mouse around though.
Can you give me insight on why it is not working or how to fix it? Thanks

Yes it may be because of the fact that the touchpad drivers not installed and windows is using the default drivers.The default drivers often fail to provide all features given by the hardware.
Most laptops usually uses synaptic touchpad drivers.If you have something like that installed on your laptop you just need to configure it form the control panel.
It will be better if you could provide the specific model of the laptop you are talking about.
