It's easily a false article. I know doubts can occur and the conspiracy theorists will come up with stories. But win or lose is a part of the game. You see SL dominated India from 1996 WC to year 2008. We won about 60%/65% of games we played against them in that period. Remember in one match we scoring 299 and get them bowled out for 54? It's far more embarrassing for India than the game where they chased 320 from 37 overs against us. In those 12 years whenever SL meets India we were the favorites most of the times. India had no clue how to defeat us and stop Jayasuriya onslaught those days.

Now the tables are turned and they have begun to dominate us. It's simply the nature of cricket. Just like Australia dominating England for 16 years in Ashes and England turning the tables.

That article writer is no one but a conspiracy theorist taking advantage of a situation to seek attention. The truth is SL has never involved in match fixing and never will be! We are a damn proud nation and our players will never ever give up their loyalties for the country. Yes they play in IPL but it's a different topic altogether. In fact not just SLns some other countrymen too play there.

So India were simply the better team and that was why we lost. Do you think SL players don't have loyalty for this country? We saw couple of Tamilnadu terrorist Indian supporters running in to the ground in Semi final. And no doubt the SL players would have loved to shut'em up by defeating India just like they did in Australia game where those terrorist dogs had to run away with their tails tucked between their legs after the enthusiastic SL supporters kicked'em off at the end of the match out side the ground!

No worries. We are a damn proud nation and cricket is just a sport. Some teams are better than us sometimes and some are not. It's what the sports are all about!

Another disillisioned Sri Lankan fan. He too probably lives inn Canada. He is right in saying that the Indians have won almost all of their matches against Sri Lanka but how could he doubt Sanga's loyalty towards his country and game? How could he say that Sanga wasn't interested in making runs?

This fan is behaving like a Paki now. They always blame their players of fixing the game if they lose against India, as if they are better than India. And this Sri Lankan fan is blaming the IPL for his team's loss. When the same Sanga scored a century, I remember the same fans saying he has shown the difference between IPL and the real tournament.
