Median age 23-38 means what age range?
I've been given an assignment where I have to come up with a political party with ideologies that match the age range I've been given. I know that median means middle but if 23-38 is the middle then what is the age range??? or is the age range actually 23-38??

The assignment seems poorly phrased. I believe they meant that your party needs to have ideological identification with 23-38 year olds.

I think 38-23 = 15 is the age range while the middle of 23-38, which is 30.5 is the median

For the range you take the largest number of the sequence and subtract the smallest number in the sequence to get the difference. Example: 1, 2, 8, 12. 12-1=11. 11 is the range.

the median age would be 30-31. i dont really know what kind of question is. it is really stupid.
