Which Player on your team is the best current Jersey Buy?
I've been thinking about my Sabres lately and the fact we're probally dealing both Thomas Vanek and Ryan Miller in the next few months. Over the last few years they've probably been the most popular jersey seen around the First Niagara Centre (Along with the departed Jason Pominville).
Since they're on the way out they don't make good jersey buys since they'll be on other teams. When buying a jersey of current players you ideally want top guys who will be around for a few years. It leaves a void in Buffalo that I think is probally gonna be filled by Cody Hodgson
On your current team which is the currently best jersey to buy
STAR- I love Ott and if I was buying a jersey it's between him and Hodgson currently. I only give Hodgson an edge since he's probably going to be on the team longer cause of his age

NONSENSE! You have Cody Hodgson, he's the next upcoming player. Vanek is amazing and you obviously dont want to lose him like you lost Pominville but Cody is definitely gonna ber around for awhile and is the perfect age. And of course, dont forget Steve Ott who i love. But I'm a Rangers fan and you can always buy our Nash jersey, or Callahan, Staal or Kreider.

Zach Parise. When a talented player, like Parise, comes to any team, their jersey is going to be the biggest buy.He is also a Minnesotan, which will make a lot of fans want to buy his jersey even more.
Ryan Suter would have to be the second best. The top defenseman last summer, and the Wild were able to bring him and Parise in. With how much he was meant to this team this year, I would not be surprised if his jersey became the best buy.

Bruins- Bergeron, Chara
Blackhawks- Toews, Kane, Keith
Lightning- Stamkos, Lecavalier, St. Louis
Stars- Benn
Penguins- Malkin, Crosby
Caps- Ovechkin, Green
New York Rangers- Callahan
those are just a few names I can drop off of the top of my head that would count as the best jerseys to buy. Reason being, all those players seem loyal to their team. Nothing worse than buying a jersey of a player that leaves the next season.

Steve Yzerman, he may be retired but If you add up all the Jerseys on an average his jersey would add up to be more then all the others combined. The Captain is still the man.

Avs - Matt Duchene
This kid is real talented and the best player on our team. He may have only one year left on his contract, but he's going to get a contract extension for sure. Every Avs fan loves the kid. He'll be with the team until he retires.

As soon as they find him a number Jonathan Bernier. His number 45 is used by Mark Fraser, sounds like Rolex territory.
