Preserving an autographed t-shirt?
Recently, I had a t-shirt autographed by my favorite celebrity. I have never washed the t-shirt before and grossly, I don't plan on it. I wanted to frame the shirt because of the autograph. The shirt was signed with one of the washable sharpies. Even though I do NOT plan on washing the shirt, is there anything I can do to preserve the autograph better? Is there anything I can spray on the t-shirt before putting it in the frame? Thanks!

Anything you spray on the shirt could cause the Sharpie to run or deteriorate. Your best bet is to just frame the shirt as you plan and then hang the frame in a location that does not get Sun. The Sun could fade the ink.
And you're smart not to wash the shirt. Washing the shirt could ruin the autograph, too.

Art stores sell a fixative for charcoal drawings, I would experiment with that. By experiment I mean use the same type of pen marker on another t-shirt and spray it. See what happens. Believe me, decades of screwing up royal have never taught me not too, but I hope I can keep others from doing it. Always test first, don't be like me. My last screwup was I put 10,000 times the blue dye I was supposed to in a pond. Ah me! I am what I am.
