Miscarriage 3 weeks ago... Now a positive pregnancy test?
I had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago, i was 7 weeks pregnant... they done scans and blood tests to confirm it was a COMPLETE MISCARRIAGE I passed a lot of clots and was bleeding very heavly that they kept me in hospital.
For the past 5 days I have had pregnancy symptoms, tender breasts, tummy discomfort etc... I have not had sex since the day before my miscarriage! And only stopped bledding around 5 days ago!
I called the early pregnacy unit at the hospital and explained my symptoms and they told me to do a test, and go see my GP about my symptoms.
The test was positive 2-3 weeks! I have had no sex at all, how is this possible? Both scans and blood tests confirmed I was not pregant!
I am obviously now going back to the early pregnancy unit for more tests, but I would like to know if anyone has had a similar experience? Is it possible I am pregnant?? Even though I haven't had sex since the day before my miscarriage??
Thank you

I started having my miscarriage at 7 weeks too. They took me in and did a pregnancy test again, came back positive. So they did an ultra sound and there was no baby just an empty sac. :( but still a positive test. I'd suggest calling your doctor. I'm sorry for your loss, miscarriages are quite scarring and traumatizing.

It is normal to have HcG (pregnancy hormone) present in urine/blood even after 3 weeks of miscarriage. HcG count continues to decline after miscarriage (it took 4 weeks for my wife to get to zero after miscarriage). That is likely why the HPT is likely registering a false positive result i.e. likely not pregnant. If unsure, get a couple of blood tests done and see if HcG levels increasing (pregnancy) or declining (from last miscarriage). Good luck.

If you or someone you love is struggling to get pregnant, then this will be the most important video you will ever watch https://tr.im/0DhND
Don't smoke. Smoking ages your ovaries and depletes your eggs prematurely. If you smoke, ask your health care provider to help you quit before conception.
Don't drink alcohol. Research suggests that drinking alcohol appears to decrease fertility and can harm a developing baby. Generally, it's best to avoid alcohol if you're hoping to conceive.
Don't take medication without your health care provider's OK. Certain medications — even those available without a prescription — can make it difficult to conceive. Others might not be safe once you're pregnant.
Don't depend on vaginal lubricants. Various over-the-counter vaginal lubricants can decrease fertility. Saliva can have the same effect. If you need a lubricant, consider mineral oil or canola oil — or ask your doctor for other suggestions.
Don't overdo strenuous exercise. Although moderate physical activity can help promote fertility, going overboard might have the opposite effect. Some research suggests that five or more hours a week of vigorous aerobic activity can actually impair the fertility of a woman who isn't overweight.

If you can be pregnant or if you have infertility problems I reccomend to follow this method http://pregnancy.toptips.org/
Many factors can cause a couple trouble in conceiving a baby, I'll list a few of the most common ones in women:
Anorexia or other dietary dysfunctions
Lacking amounts of FSH and LH are produced, so ovaries aren't as functional as they could be, and so not many eggs are produced
Stress, causing periods to become irregular
Medications such as cancer treatments, antidepressants, hormone therapy, pain killers, and antipsychotic drugs can all cause temporary infertility.
With the method that I posted above you will be able to get pregnant!

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info/
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

Do you have a family history of twins? If so you are very likely to have carried twins.. Sorry for the loss but probably your 2nd child is still in there growing healthy... Contact your doctor soon and get tested so that the residue of the other baby don't harm your present baby..
Good Luck with your pregnancy..

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/171f0
