    To change any negative into a positive take it's reciprocal so it becomes

    (4/3)^(1/3) then to simplify just put that into your calculator making sure you put brackets where nessacary! That one becomes

    1.1006

    In order to keep it in fraction form for that one, you can't simplify it anymore then that. Some other ones you probably can though it just all depends.

    the "neg" sign means you want the inverse, so

    1

    ===== {then flip this set-up**}

    4^3

    ------

    3^3

    ** becomes 3^3/4^3 = 27/64
