I'm having a problem with Windows 8?

Hello, I recently had a gaming computer built for me, with Windows 8 installed. I love the machine, and haven't had any problems with it up until now. When I leave the computer locked for more than an hour, the whole lock screen freezes up and I have to restart my computer. I have anti-virus installed, and I really don't do much downloading or web surfing anyway, so I'm 99% positive this isn't caused by a virus or other malicious program. Also, I haven't noticed any other issues like pop ups or slowdowns. If I leaved it locked for less than an hour, it's ok, and it doesn't always freeze, but it does more often than not. If someone could help me with this issue, I'd be very great full.

Can be difficult to diagnose over the internet, best bet is to ask whoever built it for you, if it was a company, it could be a hardware fault and your guarantee/warranty will allow you to have it repaired for free.

Just as a side note, try updating all the applicable drivers for your computer, see if that helps, the first one that comes to mind is your graphics.

I'm not sure but best thing to do is go to the geek squad at Best Buy and ask them for help.
