Need help picking out a laptop?

Okay....calling all people who know anything about computers. lol I'm looking on Best Buy for a good refurbished laptop, but I know like...nothing about them, so can someone help me pick? lol I like the Asus a lot because it's small, but I've never owned one. I just want something that can run CDs and DVDs, that isn't slow, and that I can use for college. Any advice is much appreciated!

    i guess the first one. they are all pretty out dated and bad laptops but you can get by with them .
