Am I too short for highschool football?

I'm around 4"9 or 5"1 haven't checked. I'm 14 and weigh 100 pounds :/ not sure if that'll cut it but just wondering, also it's going to be freshman year

No. You can go between the legs of those linemen instead of having to run right at them.... Good luck.....

No, you are not too short to play high school football. In fact, I highly encourage you to join your high school freshman football team this upcoming season.

Based on your height and weight, I believe that the best fit for you is at the wide receiver position. For your age, you have the ideal size for a high school freshman wide receiver. Keep in mind, some high school freshman wide receivers are shorter than 5 feet, and weigh less than 100 pounds.

My best advice for you is to work hard and perform very well in practice every day. In addition, what you need to do this (and every) summer is eat healthy, exercise by doing weight lifting, and either jogging or going for a long run every day. If you do these things, you will get faster, stronger, and into better shape, which will greatly improve your chances of becoming a successful, top notch wide receiver in high school football, who could go on to play college football in the future.

No not at all! Just start working out, drinking protein shakes and study the RB position and go for that spot. You can make it, I did...also run a lot try to get quicker and quicker. Being fast is different then being quick. Granted you will need both but that quickness will help a lot in that RB spot.

Train but don't lift weights! They won't allow u too grow much taller. Just drink plenty of milk and just do exercises like push-ups sit-ups pull-ups and running. Eat well,do whatever u want just dont lift weights if u wanna get taller
