What is the point in continuous postings by the guy in India?

who keeps submitting the gibberish about call girls? What is he trying to accomplish? Why is he so persistent? How is he able to penetrate the YA screening and get posted?

Any insight is appreciated.

Most likely it isn't a he, but an "it". A spambot. While YA is able to take these down pretty quickly, currently they don't have a strong enough perimeter defense to stop them posting in the first place. They may eventually be able to add that to the code, as they seem to have done for the rampant Nike shoe spammer, but in the meantime, all we can do is report them as spam. The most effective way to do so is to use the Official Spam Battle Thread on the Suggestion Board. Post the link to the PROFILE of the person doing the commercial spamming and they will strip all content and terminate the account.

As for what these postings hope to accomplish, some companies pay for successful posting (even if it is later deleted), or there may be people that actually end up clicking on any links in the posting (which is why Level 1 accounts no longer can post "live" links).

He just copy and pastes and submits as quickly as he can. He might not even be a real person, just some sock puppet account with an automated thing that just spams the "question" as often as possible before Yahoo finally catches up and gets rid of him.

The point is the same as anyone else trying to advertise on here. They want business.

I hate them and they are very annoying but the whole jist of it is he wants whatever business he gets from here that he wouldn't get otherwise.

Just report 'em as fast as you can and as often as you can and it will help Yahoo pick them up faster.
