Why does this feel weird?
Interlace your fingers before you read this question any further... Now do them with the other index finger on top (in my case the first cross has my left index finger on top...
Did you have to actually stop a moment and think of how to do this?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating6 years ago86 Chevy 3/4 350 ignition mystery. I turn the key and get nothing. No click or any indication that any connection was attempted.?MORE??????
Dash indicators come on. This has happened 4 or 5 times days or weeks apart over the past months. After 3 or 4 tries it has always started... until Monday when after repeated 9 or 10 tries including moving shifter and steering column (adjustable) I tried later in the day and the next morning to no avail.
I had the truck towed to the garage where they could NOT get it to fail. They tried all day Tuesday and today as well. They did not want to start replacing parts randomly (starter and a nearby relay are less than a year old) and did not think it was the ignition switch. They said it could be 'something' in the column.
Thoughts, ideas, suggestions? HELP!

1 AnswerSecurity7 years ago86 Chevy 3/4 PU 5.7 vapor lock symptoms (hesitation like fuel gaps) but I have done all the normal remedies -?
rerouted the fuel line - rebuilt the carb (with new filters) replaced fuel pump. It happens when outside temperature is near 100º
Is it possibly connected to the fuel tank? I have never been able to put more than 13 or so gallons (about 3/8 tank and I have run dry so I know the gauge is working) the last one with great difficulty due to auto shut off on pumps.
Is there some sort of internal blockage or somehow a pressure/issue connected to this tank problem? Somehow aggravated by the road heat? Ambient 100º+ temps?
I can often work through the hesitation problem by feathering the accelerator and at its worst I have been able to continue on after 1/2 hour wait or so... and after the temperature has dropped (evening)
Help!

I'm guessing at least 70%. There is simply no point in wasting time filtering through the haters in politics and the Indians selling call girls.
1 AnswerYahoo Answers7 years agoNotice appears every 30 minutes telling me that I am online. How do I make this go away?
I know I am online I don't need a reminder. This has just started in the last week or so. If I don't click yes it will shut off my connection. How do I make this notice go away.
Dial up - Mac os - earthlink.
Thank you.
1 AnswerSoftware7 years ago86 Chevy 3/4 pu Is voltage regulator causing loss of electrical... lights, horn, dome light, slow electric?
window response, gauge shows about 10 amps. O'Reilly testing shows alternator is good but voltage regulator is bad. Is the regulator selecting what gets electricity? Kind of a 'brown out' since I have directional signals and brake lights but no headlights .
Auto Zone offers a free 'bench test' If it fails should I replace the whole alternator or just the voltage regulator?
Also, is there any possible connection to this failure and recent replacement of the starter motor? Thanks.

when there is so much area under the influence of the sun;

I can see the possibility of collision explaining to some extent but the area is so vast one would think that there should be something orbiting on another of the limitless planes.

2 AnswersYahoo Answers8 years agoFrigidaire refrigerator runs 24/7?
When it was first installed it made a very odd kind of thumping sound occasionally, but usually before it shut off. The other day it made the sound and stopped but did not restart as it usually would. I flipped the on/off switches then unplugged the unit but could not get it to run. A half hour or so later it started again and except for a few minutes the next morning it has run nonstop. It is quieter than it has ever been (9-12 months old) and has not made the sound since.
Is it common in newer models to run constantly? Even before this incident it seemed to run unusually long with an occasional short shut off.
I have only used refrigerators that were at least 20 years old and I know that commercial units run nonstop. Is this just the way they are now?
Thanks.
2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden8 years agoRose bushes shot up massive stems then sprouted cluster of blooms?
I have two rose bushes planted two years ago this Spring (a Mr. Lincoln and a yellow ???) from two gallon pots and about three feet tall. After the initial spring blooms produced one inch (diameter) stems from the middle of the plant and about six inches above the tallest existing growth. Each stem immediately produced eight to ten buds which cycled nicely.
Any thoughts as to what happened? The Mr. Lincoln started about a week before the yellow one. Both plants are healthy and continue to produce normally but I have never seen this particular event before.

2 AnswersComedy8 years agoBlack Lab, 10 months old, will not stop eating plants and digging?
soil in pots. She will look dead at me and start pawing the plot she was just told to stop digging in. This has been going on since she first got here six months ago. She has plenty of toys, food and treats, has the run of a big yard (where she digs very little) and gets long walks at least twice a day. She has eaten every indoor plant I have.
Unfortunately nothing has made her sick.
She prefers to be outdoors but will poop anywhere and everywhere. She seems to prefer to pee and poop indoors, on rugs and still does at least once a day.
What bothers me most is her outright defiance as she doesn't wait until she is alone. She will look straight at you when she does these things.
I am at my end of tolerance and am about to start smacking her... something I have not yet done but she just doesn't seem to care to be a good dog.
Help!
