What plant is this? Kind of a bulb at base and leaves grow about 4 feet long.?

    Avalon, Bill not either of these. (checked Wiki) My plant has much broader leaves that are truly 4 feet long. I've had it for about a year and haven't seen any kind of 'showy' blooms. Thanks for answering.
