I just got done answering the free agent question and I said I hope ,my Rangers get this guy, he can still play well, better than Danny Biriere, and he's 2 years younger then Briere. Anyways, I hope my Rangers make some good moves but what about Michael Ryder? Don't you wish to get him back? Hes a free agent too and hes very good

  • The provincial tax issue is always going to be a problem for players (or really anyone for that matter) but he does have $24mm in guaranteed income over the next 14 years.

The question is where does he want to go (at this point he's holding the hammer). I'm almost of the mind he'll either chase the money or sign a short term deal with a Cup contender.

As a Detroit fan, I guess I don't really care. Both Montreal and Tampa Bay are in the same division with Detroit so we will be seeing him a lot either way.
