Basketball Fans: How good will the Los Angeles Clippers be under Doc Rivers?

I think Rivers will be good for the Clippers because his strong suit is team defense. Maybe his low opponents points per game was a product of the great defensive players he had in Boston, but regardless, he coaches a good team defense, something the Clippers need. He is focused on fundamentals. The Clippers have all the flashy stuff down (i.e. Paul, Griffin, Crawford, Jordan) but they need the fundamentals and defense to win, which I think Rivers really provides.

I think they'll be a better team, but it's still a horse race out west. Can't see them beating the Thunder, GS. or SA with the roster they have now. They'll need to get a few more free agents with some toughness on the team. Signing Doc though is best for Blake! Doc is going to teach him that he has to be tougher and not always let teams push him around. Once you get a reputation for not taking no shYt, they'll leave him alone.

Right now maybe semi finals but lose there. If they get some good players in the free agency maybe conference finals. They should really work on free throw shooting and shooting 3's not just dunking.
