If Jesus is their Shepard, are they sheep or goats?
Confident people don't need a Shepard for protection - because they're courageous enough to pull the trigger - instead of praying for the Wolf!

Christian either want to be sheep, or children who pray to the "father'.
They need to grow up and take control of their lives.
The house is on fire the minute you are born here. And there is no Fire Department.

We are sheep that follow the Lord and let others know of His great mercy and sacrifice. However, even sheep have the will to fight and protect when needed. Just because we appear meek and calm and trust in Jesus, doesn't mean we just sit in the corner and ignore all that is happening to our Country and our neighbors, nor does it mean we just let others walk over us. Just as Jesus will return as a Lion instead of a Lamb, so are the real Christians of today both. My sources can explain more

There is no one perfect allegorical image which we can use to describe Jesus. There are a few, and those make aspects of his teachings easier to understand. He is a loving shepherd which means he will watch out for us. He is described as a lamb, and a lion also. He is also a light and the way.
So if you want to really get literal, he might herd himself and protect himself from himself, and at nighttime he will travel down himself using himself to illuminate himself.
You can get very silly with how you read allegories. But each one illuminates a different aspect of Jesus.
He is a shepherd. He watches over us.
He is a lamb. He will sacrifice himself for sin. (this relates to the old traditions of how the isrealites repented for sin by sacrificing their best livestock).
He is a lion. When he returns he will be kicking some butt.
He is the light and the way. You need to keep your eyes on him because nobody is going to get into heaven except through him.

sheep don't have a courageous bone in their body nor are they confident .......they are one of the few cattle that need constant care and protection.....
ever owned sheep?
sheep will follow that which stands as a beacon to them.....goats wont follow anyone...they take their own path. this is why sheep are noted as Gods people..and goats are noted as the wicked of the generations... they don't like rules.
I would suppose that you would be considered a goat...or even a wolf

We are sheep. We're dumb, follow the crowd without question, are easilly manipulated, attack things that try to help us and run away from things that are safe towards things that want to hurt us. Humanity is dumb, myself not an exception. The Bible when it refers to humanity as sheep is fairly accurate. So, when it talks about Jesus being a Shepherd, it's referring to somebody who can come after us, watch over us, protect us and keep us from running in circles screaming at the site of fire. (Sheep actually do that).

relationship between a sheep which is grown for fur and not for meat and the shepherd is comparred to that of God and devotee. The sheep understands the voice of the shepherd and follows him. The shepherd has concern for the sheep and looks after them. It is a metaphor and not a statement for you to interpret as you like.

lol....
ahhh.... that was a good laugh you gave me.
We who bow in humble adoration do so because we are in love with our God.
You have no idea what confidence is. Your arrogance is NOT confidence... to think so is just plain stupid.
Gun owners are the biggest cowards out there. What does it take to hide behind a wall with a gun?

Is there a question in this? You kind of just asked something and rambled on about something you want the answer to be.
