Party games for 13 year old's party?
My daughter's turning 13 later this year. I've looked online for suitable games - not too babyish, not too adult - but most seem for a huge groups of mixed sex teens.
There's likely to be only four or five close friends (all girls) at our home.
Has anyone experience of this? What worked?
Thanks in advance.

when I was 13 I really like kid stuff :-P like pin the tail on the donkey, pinatas, truth or dare, (party hats and those horn tootie things were great) even some board games but it depends what kind of atmosphere there is I guess, if there's balloons and that kind of stuff then maybe leave out the board games, but if your wanting to be a bit more sensible maybe try pass the orange, balloon race (everyone gets a balloon and you have to race each other over a stretch, holding the balloon between your thighs (even add obstacles to make it a bit harder) and the winner is the first to reach the end and pop their balloon without using their hands, or turn it into a relay and get them to pass the balloons between them), or a boat race (everyone gets a pint of something (water, tomato juice, etc. I've even heard of people doing this with flour) and the first to finish wins)

If you have a big enough space then play capture the flag. Im 14 and I play it with my friends all the time and we play a huge game of it at my youth camp. It's so much fun and you don't need to buy anything for it! All you have to do is divide the girls into two teams, set boundaries (two sides and a base), find two items to be used as flags, hide them, and then try to capture each others flags. If someone is tagged on the opposing teams side, they go to jail for like 2 minutes. This is a really great game, we've even played it in the woods (which we call the hunger games version). Theres also truth or dare, which I've played with my friends since I was 11. You could have a campfire and roast marshmallows and make smores, that's really fun. If you have a wii or xbox you could invest in a Just Dance or Dance Central game and they could have a dance off. That's all I got, it's just based on what me and my friends do so hope this helps :)

My favorites are; BLIND FOLDED MAKE OVERS which is wear you put a blindfopld on and put make up on your friends, APPLE BOBBING& FLOUR: which is where you bob for an apple(but you can use other objects) from a bowl of water then put your face in flour and in the flour will be a sweet(e.g haribos). THE CHOCOLATE GAME: you have a dice and pass it round and as soon as someone rolls a 6 they have to put on a hat, gloves and scarf and cut a block off a chocolate bar one by one until someone else rolls a 6. CHARADES, CHINEASE WISPERS.............hope she has a great party.
