Why do people make a big deal out of WWE being scripted?

People need to understand that it is not ''fake''. The Storylines and stuff are scripted, the promos are, and the matches are as well. But the moves are not fake. They really require skill, and that's why I watch wrestling, and for the entertainment value out of the storylines. I guess people like other things, but they shouldn't come trolling on here if they like something that is ''real''

WWE stands for World Wrestling Entertainment. That's says it all, it's sports entertainment. This conversation about the WWE being fake or scripted is getting old. It's like a tv series but it's wrestling, it's simple as that.

Ever since I was a little kid people told me that WWE was fake and they all made a deal out of it.

They make a deal out of it because they are fans of MMA or Boxing and they watch WWE and realize how stupid it is. Well now that I have grown up I have seen how dumb it is. I still enjoy watching old moments of Raw from like ten years ago or watching John Cena from a few years ago. But today I can't sit down and watch it because the scripts are awful and the talent isn't very good.

If movies and most TV shows are scripted.

I don't care.

WWE is scripted which makes it more enjoyable.

Whenever I watch sports such as NBA, NHL, that is something different.

the amuters are scripted and some big matches but really they have 1 person win and the 2 guys make it happen , daniel bryon and orton got fined for chair shots to the head on raw because wwe is not allowed to do head shots................not all fake

the problem is people rave on about the fights and how cool they are, when the fights are fake and gay. where as numerous other fight sports the fighting is REAL and intense
