What should Democrats do to increase support among whites?

Nothing. I'm white and I support the Democratic party because I don't think blacks and Hispanics should be second class citizens. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."--MLK.

Since the gutting of the Voting Rights Act by the Supreme Court, the only whites that will still vote Republican will be the white supremacists.

Democrats serve most whites far better than the Republicans. However they face a fearsome propaganda machine in FOX and corporate talk radio. Democrats need to field more media to make their case, as the Republicans do. However, Democrats get to tell the truth, which is always less complicated.

All they have to do is to continue what they're doing now - make it an everyone-welcome party that is openminded and forward-thinking. The GOP is stuck in the past and refuses to accept that it's not the 1950s anymore. They can hang on to that all they want - the Democratic Party should leave them behind and move forward with the people.

Dem mindset would probably make it "impossible" for them to increase the white votes. The only hope dems have is to increase the "sheep" voters wherever they can get them!
