How long should I cook baby back ribs?
I have 2 racks one is 3.31 lbs and the other is 3.17 lbs.
I plan on putting a rub on them the morning b4 I cook them n the night b4 I cook them I will let them soak in a braising liquid over night.
I will cook them in the oven until they r fully cooked and then move them on the grill so they can get a smoky taste. I will also put BBQ sauce on them too.
How long should I cook them in the oven and grill?
I found something that says to bake them on 200 degrees for 8 hrs. And put them on the grill for 10 min on both sides. Will that b to long?

the recipe sounds great...6 to 8 hours sounds right to me at 200, the slower you cook the tastier. when braising them, cut them into 3 bone pieces , dark beer and bbq sauce,24 ounces dark beer and 32 ounces bbq sauce.in your oven pan stack them so that the juices drip down when cooking, and in your rub go easy on the brown sugar, otherwise salt pepper , what seasonings/flavors that you enjoy

Sounds good, but a lot of work.
Here is my family's way:
OVEN BARBECUED BABY BACK RIBS
Ingredients
2 pounds pork baby back ribs (4 ribs per person)
1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
Directions
1. Tear off 4 pieces of aluminum foil big enough to enclose each portion of ribs. Spray each piece of foil with vegetable cooking spray. place each portion in its own piece of foil.
2. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
3. Bake ribs wrapped tightly in the foil at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 2 1/2 hours. Remove from foil and add more sauce, if desired.
I like to put the sauce on after the ribs cook (warm the sauce first). Some people do not like BBQ sauce.

I cook mine for about 3 hours at 225 in the oven, and then grill for about 5 min on each side on med heat. If I left them on the type of BBQ I have for 10 min each side, they would burn.
