college majors if I want to work in special education?

I've always known that what ever job I go into, I want to help people. For a while I thought I wanted to be a marriage and family councilor. I still might want to do that, but I'm not sure. Recently I worked at a camp for special needs children and it made me think that I might want to work with special needs children. I'm going into my junior year in high school, so I do have some time to decide, However, I do need to start thinking about my major. If I were to go into special ED, I'd want to do something like speech pathology or occupational therapy. What college major would help me reach that goal?

Update:

I would talk to my school councilor, but I'm homeschooled haha

Occupational Therapy is a post-Bachelors' degree. There's a good website at AOTA.org all about occupational therapy. I think you start out with a degree as Occupational Therapy Assistant, and then go on to a Masters for OT.

Speech Therapy has a Bachelors' degree, and Audiology.
