HAIR KEEPS KNOTTING WHY?

I think this is a bit weird but it keeps happening, i've started wearing my hair down recently(as i always have it up) just like to work & during the day it keeps getting knotted especially at the back i have to go out every so often to brush it any suggestions?

lol i'm female & love Kiefer Sutherland thats why he's my profile pic. I think it's kind of a weird problem as no one i know seems to have it, it's very annoying

    Because it's rubbing against your back. Next time hair comes out in the shower, take it in your palm(s), and rub them together, it'll become a knotted ball. This is basically what's happening when you move your hair head and your hair drags across your back, to a much lesser extent of course.
