What countries would be a part of empire today? How would the continental US map look?
robert richmond- can you elaborate? Wouldn't Germany be a part of our empire having defeated them in WW2 if we had stayed imperial? Why would we be speaking German? More Germans would be speaking English I would imagine (which a great deal do anyway)
I guess we are an empire its just a different kind and not thrown in anybody's face such as the British Empire.

They did stay imperial, the US military is all over the world dictating the actions of other nations. The only thing truly stopping the US of being called an empire is in name only.
