Muslims, do we really not make compeers to God Almighty?
Many of the Muslims still believe in the intermediaries to find mercy of God Almighty, many of them believe that they are not good enough on their own to approach God. They have different reasons to justify by saying that all they seek is guidance whereas none guides us better than Koran. Do you agree?
In my support I would like to mention verse 20 of chapter 2, The Cow (Sura Al-Baqarah) that reads....
O you men, serve your Lord Who created you,
and those that were before you; haply so you will be God fearing;
who assigned to you the earth for a couch,
and heaven for an edifice, wherewith He brought forth
fruits for your provision; so SET NOT UP
COMPEERS TO GOD wittingly.
So, do you agree that Koran is sufficient for guidance and none else?

If you meant about "Sufism" and Shias..I really couldn't care less about them. The teaching of Islam(Sunni) clearly stated in your Prayers, guidance or grace say it directly to God. There's no praying through Muhammad nor Ali and Fatima let alone some Sheikhs. That's all from my humble opinions..
Allahualam.

Bismillahi Walhamdullillah WasSalaathu WasSalaamu Ala Rasoollallah,
This is the danger when try on your own! first of all the verse which you are quoted is 22nd not 20th!
MISGUIDANCE!
for people like you HE brings Khidhr(AS) & Musa(AS) ! regarding knowledge! Prophet Peace & Blessings be upon Him who travelled Isra & Miraj, used a Murshid(usher) to go to Madina from Mecca!
and one more problem with Khawarij and literalists in these who are mostly La-Madhabiyah! do same like Khawarij use verses to point other Muslims which are for Mushrik, Kuffar & Munafiq!
Try to read Qur'aan verse after verse to understand don't take things out of context! Most Importantly don't do blanket Takfirs with your little knowledge!
as par as verse is concerned, …So set not up compeers (andād) to God…That is, adversaries (aḍdād), and the greatest adversary is the self that incites to evil (al-nafs al-ammāra bi’l-sūʾ), which is only bent on its own pleasures (ḥuẓūẓ) and cravings (munā), without having any regard for guidance from God. Sahl was asked about God’s words: Tafsir al-Tustari
(Who hath appointed the earth a resting-place for you), a place for dwelling and sleeping, (and the sky a canopy), raised high above; (and causeth water to pour down from the sky), i.e. rain, (thereby producing) through this rain (fruits) different kinds of fruit (as food for you) as sustenance for you and all created beings. (So do not set up rivals to Allah) do not say that Allah has peers, different forms or coequals (when you know) that He is the fashioner of all these things. It is also said that (when you know) means: when you know from your own scripture that Allah does not have a son, coequal or peer. - Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
This is how Sahaba(RA) understood the verse! This verse is a sequence of verses which were revealed for Mushrik of Mecca, Munafiq, Jews & Christians!
now you with out any proper understanding, and guidance tried to use against Muslims! which in itself is a great sin to call any upright Muslim Kafir!
to make you a lier Shariah told me to say to you La Ilaha Illallah Muhammadur Rasoollallah,
Allah may guide you to Straight Path, and what is Straight Path? 'Fa-ula'ika ma`a alladheena an'amm-Allahu `alayhim min an-nabiyyin was-siddiqeen wash-shuhada'i was-saaliheena wa hassuna 'ula'ika rafeeqa"
'(And all who obey God and the Apostle) are in the company of those on whom is the grace of Allah: of the prophets, the sincere lovers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous; Ah! what a beautiful fellowship.'" (an-Nisa', 69,70)
And Allah Alone Gives Success.
