Job for a 6 foot 3 basketball player?

So I'm doing a story with a basketball player but I'm not sure if after university is done he'll go to play pro or get a normal job. He's hot-headed, stubborn, has a short temper, but he isn't a violent person unless someone really pisses him of or hurts his girlfriend who's very small for her age. He's strong and secretly shy. He also has a fear of ghost's and he's uneasy with large breed dogs. He likes moving around but is best at taking orders, most of the time, then giving them. He's also a little bit of an idiot but he try's his best.

So a job at a desk would drive him made, no fast food stuff, or retail.

Update:

Laborer sounds decent. I should have added that he seems to come off as a guy that wants to be seen as Husband material even though he'll never say it out loud. And laborer seems to work, but I don't know it just doesn't seem to suite him.

Update 2:

LOL! Farmer would actually be really cute idea! I could see that working! I am starting to like constructions.
