Does it hurt to get your ears pierced?!?

I've literally just got mine done today. I expected it to really hurt as it was a gun and I'm a complete wimp, but surprisingly it didn't! Like I was quite nervous for the first ear and when she did it I was almost in shock because I thought it would be a lot worse, so then when she did the second it was fine, I didn't even flinch..

It stings a little but for about 10-20 seconds and your ears go a bit red. On a scale of 1-10 it's about 3 or 4. Just make sure if you get it done then they're equal and you clean them well. But I'm so pleased with mine, but in my opinion I don't think you should go to Claire's. I'd got to a Beauty salon or somewhere more professional.

It seriously does not hurt, it just stings but it feels kind of nice.

For me at least, it hurt a little bit but then again I was 8 when I got mine done. It's just a little pinch then they just feel numb usually. There aren't many nerves in your ear lobes so it shouldn't be too bad. You'll be fine don't worry, but I honestly wouldn't recommend getting them done at Claire's, I don't think they're the best at it but I could be wrong.

My ears really hurt when they were pierced and they were pierced with a piercing gun. I had something else pierced with just a needle and that wasn't painful at all. I personally don't like ear piercings on a guy, I think an eyebrow piercing is a nice though.

It just feels like someone's pinched you for 1 second on each ear. It hurts a little when you get it done, but its not a horrible pain its just like when some one pinches you, it will go away in a few minutes.

It depends on how badly you take pain, if you take it badly you may find it a little bit sore but if you're fine with pain it's just a small pinch and it's over within a second. I wouldn't worry about it and I think you should get it done. :)

It doesn't hurt. Like you won't cry. You'll actually be surprised by how much it doesn't hurt. I expected worse when I got mine done a few years ago

Go for it! It doesn't hurt at all. I was about 4 when I got mine :D They usually use numbing stuff so it won't hurt, guaranteed!
