Will this show up on my background check?

Im getting a background check for a job and just filled out the application. 7 months ago i was caught by the police possessing a small amount of marijuana. I was written a ticket, it was basically a parking ticket but on the ticket the reason was listed as "other" rather than speeding, parking, etc. I paid the ticket off on time but will my possible employer be able to find out about this?
