The Fourth? fact or fiction?

Today is the Fourth of July!

It has meaning for Conservative/Republicans, but what about liberals/democrats? July 4, 1776 the Constitution was ratified by the Colonial Congress!! Being the Constitution is outdated and useless these days, how are you going to honor those who drafted and signed it? How are you going to honor those who fought and died to keep it? Or will it be a few burgers or brats and watch fire works, ohs and a ah?

Leftists and liberals don't like the constitution because it limits them. They are authoritarians by nature even those they portray themselves as caring they want to run your life. This 4th of July rings very hollow especially with all the abuses by the IRS and Obama's Spying and snooping on the American people.

Perhaps having burgers and brats is the thing to do rather than live a lie and celebrate our independence when we are now under a new regime.

    As a Democrat, I see the 4th as ho-hum.

We are all citizens of the world and there is nothing better about the US. The Constitution and the concept of limited government and Constitutional Rights is so outdated. Its about what is best for society as a whole and what the government says, not individual rights.
