what's the fastest way to cook large tapioca pearls?

i tried to boil for a long time, tried to boil and let sit and boil again... it takes hours and i was wondering if you can soak it for faster cooking. Any advice is appreciated .

For those big boba type tapioca pearls you need to rinse it then let it soak in water preferably overnight. Then you boil the water. Let it boil then add your soaked tapioca pearls. Turn the heat down when the water boils and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Then turn the heat off as the pearls begin to swell up, remember to add hot water to maintain the heat. Do not shock the pearls with cold water not unless the pearls already plump up and soften. For those small tapioca pearls or sago, do not soak overnight, just rinse and add to water when the water boils "
