I dropped 2 eggs on my deck and they slithered in between the wooden beams to the dirt underneath before I could pick it up. The smell is nauseating. How long will the smell linger? What can i pour on top to kill the smell ?

The subfloor is plyboard in a very old house that has some movement due to soft dirt under the house foundation.

Also, any advice on what not tp do and sealing, taping or if to use thinset underneath the boards is appreciated.

The house is an old single wall tongue and groove plantation style redwood home in Hawaii. The previous owner damaged many of the interior walls to where i can t just paint them. I need to make double walls in many areas to cover up holes but am wondering if i could use 2x2s instead of the regular 2x4 double wall framing style to loose less area since the rooms are not that big, especially the bathroom. Doing it myself on a budget so any pointers welcome.

I have 2 Doberman and 3 Rottweilers. Only 1 of my Rotties digs holes in the grass and only at night. Mostly in the spot he sleeps or areas I have just fixed ! He has multiple comfortable areas to sleep but he prefers the wet gas. I water in the evening because daytime is too hot. I live in Hawaii and nights are warm. Im trying to avoid having to lock him up at night , I thought he would grow out of it by now since he is nearly 2. He is the youngest of all my dogs and mother and sister dont have this habbit. He is loose 24/7 in a large yard and only does it during the night.

I found out that a filipino citizen living in Hawaii as a legal permanent resident alien needs a visa to travel to the Netberlands on vacation. The problem is that Hawaii does not have a Dutch embasy to apply for the visa. The closest embasy is in los angeles and you need to know exact dates of travel and show a round trip ticket . Its pathetic to buy a round trip ticket, fly to L.A. to apply for a visa and then have to wait for weeks on an answer to see if your application got accepted !

Does anyone know if there is a european embasy in Hawaii that could issue a visa (e.g. Germany, belgium etc..) And would then alow travel to the netherlands ? Or of any other way to go about this ?

My Neighbors pool pump is situated by my property line and is loud and anoying. How can it be made more quiet ? Build a shack around it, insulate certain parts of the pump ???? Please suggestions

My neighbor runs his anoying pump all day and he doesnt swim in his pool. He only uses the pool 3 to 4 days a year when his grand kids come and swim but the pump runs from 7:45am to 5pm. He sais he has one if those outomatic vacums that sweep the bottom if the pool. How many hours does it really need ?

The pump is anoyingly loud and situated at the furthest place from his house where he doesnt hear it which is near the property line by our house in an area where we like to sit and relax in the yard, but even in othe psrts of the house we can hear the continuous noise of the pump. This is in hawaii. I already tried to convince him to run it less or insulate the area.

,,,or should i just pretend to forgive her and act like all is fine again or should i just avoid her and everything that has to do with her.

she is early 20's and has two daughters (his grand kids), my partner and i have been together 7 years .

Over all she is not too nice to her father (reason i dont like her) and only acts nice when she wants money , she resents the way he wasnt there for her and her siblings when she was younger.

I have a 2000 Kawasaki ultra150 and My display turns on, my battery is fully charged, but when i hit the start button, NOTHING happens.. No clicks, turns, sounds, nothing.. My lanyard is in, my ignition is on, and the last time i rode it it worked fine.. One thing I Did do after the last ride was a fix my steering... The only thing i could think of is if I maybe hit some wires while moving around in there.. CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!!!! D-

We have had a kitten and it seems that ever since we've had her my teenage sons (even me) have been starting to get zits on our face, chest and back. might be a coincidence and something we ate or sunscreen we use but is it possible that it might be the cat? could it be we have an allergy that manifests itself in the form of acne ? We also have parrot, chickens, geese and 4 large dogs and no one has ever had bad skin.

i have 4 dogs and keep them clean and put a monthly topical flea and tick medicine on them but am wondering if there is something i can put on the dogs that will naturally repel any unwanted bugs on them.
