I'll be Joining the US Army with MP MOS can you have a personal weapon on duty?

1.) I want to know if you may have your own personal weapon?

2.) If not can you add attachments to the one issued?

3.) And can you bring your weapon on missions?

No. The Army will provide you with the weapons you will need to use on duty.

No. Although while in garrison, you will typically only carry your side arm. During deployment your rifle will undoubtedly be outfitted with some sort of acog. Any additional attachments will up to your command team on whether or not you can use them. And while on mission/deployment your issued weapon will never EVER leave your side.
